About the event
Partnering with the Immigrant & Refugee Services Association in PEI, ACIC will host an information session for newcomers. The impact of the recent weather events in PEI has been harsher than other provinces, with a lot of newcomers suffering due lack of knowledge on how to best prepare for storms. This session will draw parallels between how to prepare in the local geographical context and the attendees’ countries of origin to help attendees understand and remember these tips better.
