About the event

The event will consist of some general questions and introductions for our panelists and then an open Q&A session.

This is a hybrid event so after registering, you will get a Zoom link if you will be attending virtually.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

For those attending in-person: the event will take place in Room 1016 in the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building, Halifax, NS.

  2. Catherine Leviten-Reid - prof at CBU, areas of research focus on affordable housing and community development
  3. The P.A.D.S Network - community advocacy network based in Halifax, calling for Permanent, Accessible, Dignified, and Safe housing for all
  4. Nomonde Gwebu - Lecturer and PhD candidate at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, with expertise in architecture and planning

This event is taking place in partnership with the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation, and the Dalhousie University International Development Education and Awareness Society (IDEAS) for International Development Week 2024. Since 1991, IDW has been held annually in the first full week of February and highlights Canadian contributions to international development initiatives from coast to coast to coast and overseas.
