One of the most difficult aspects of moving to a new home, whether that home is temporary or permanent, is dealing with the dangers of that new home. No place in the world is safe from storms and environmental disaster, but knowing what to expect and how to react to it differs place to place. This presentation is an introduction to the types of stormy situations you may face while living on PEI, and how to prepare adequately for them, including considerations such as your home location, and in learning about them make your stay on PEI easier and safer.
This event is taking place in partnership with the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation for International Development Week 2024. Since 1991, IDW has been held annually in the first full week of February and highlights Canadian contributions to international development initiatives from coast to coast to coast and overseas.
